Chicago is our original home. We had to leave it to seek more career opportunities for me. But our hearts will always be with Chicago.
Before leaving for good, my wife and I decided to spend a long weekend in a hotel downtown. At night, we went out to the Lakefront trail, and using long exposure, captured these photos. I always wanted to print these on glass and hang them in my house, though since moving away from the city, I have not yet felt the feeling of "home" enough to print and hang them.
Maybe one day.
