This is probably the best "first photo" that I took with my wife's camera. It's Hogwarts Castle in Universal Studios. It was a really hot day. 
I knew nothing about shutter speed, aperture, and ISO. It was set on auto mode and "click"! I liked the sensation, the intentionality, and the realness of taking a photo on a camera instead of a phone. 
I then edited my first photo on Lightroom. Looking back, it's too much. Too much saturation. Too much blue grabbing the attention away from the castle. Too much texture. It's lacking grace.
Upon further reflection, however, this started it all.
